Q: What does a monthly subscription include?
The dental lab purchases a bundle for their customers (10-20-50). This will give access to up to 10, 20, or 50 dentists to CrownID®. One dentist uses one seat, so each credit within the bundle is valid for one doctor. The number of assistants and front office users is unlimited.
Q. How can CrownID® or the LabOS Process® help fight companies like Dandy?
We have built a product, yes. But our vision is to build a community of like-minded people to resist companies without knowing the profession’s essence. The power a community can have is limitless. We aim to empower dental lab owners and help them do what they love most.
Q. What does the CrownID® App have to do with the LabOS Process®?
CrownID® is a platform to automate the workflow between the dental office and the lab, whether an IOS or conventional impression. Thus, it is a logistical solution to ease the flow between both teams, reducing friction and errors. So far, it is in its first development phases but will soon include a step-by-step implant prosthesis guided process for the clinical team, so they’re fully aware of what their requests entail at the technical level. It will also be used as a ‘control tool’ for insurance companies and peer review teams and will have a treatment plan AI module. The LabOS Process® defines the journey of the dental prosthesis from the patient-back-to-the-patient catered by each lab. This journey must be defined and predictable. Nothing happens by accident. Thus, CrownID® belongs in that journey.
Q: What is onboarding, and can you explain the cost?
Onboarding is done on two sides: First, we onboard the lab, getting to know and understand its organization, the team, and the processes. Then, we establish a global vision, which we use to train each one of the clinical teams you work with. This is the second phase. We will onboard each dental office you work with and train the whole clinical team. The Lab onboarding fee is a one-off for you. The dental office onboarding fee is also a one-off but must be paid for each dental office you work with. Premium Onboarding® goes further. We analyze your structure, your challenges and your strengths to help you become better. We help you find digital solutions that will make your lab better, your customers happier, and increase your bottom line.
Q. What happens if I pay for a dental office, and they want to use the platform with another lab?
The dental office will have to pay an add-on to be able to select a different lab than yours. The moment that second lab chooses to use CrownID® with other offices, they will have to go through the same process the first lab did: onboarding and bundle purchase.
Q. Does the lab or the user need specific equipment?
The lab and the dental front office will access the platform from the PC or tablet via chrome or safari. The dentist and their assistant will use an iPad or iPhone to create the case & the Rx.
Once the Lab Companion® comes out, the lab technician will access their cases from the app on their mobile phone.
